It’s been 3 years Veloe Multi exists. We created a new way to bring children to school, do groceries and have fun while riding to work. More then 112 retailers believe in our story to change the way we move. Since the beginning of 2022 we develop our frames in-house. That means all production (excl. parts) and assembly are based in Italy. Today we’d like to introduce Veloe Multi V2 – basically all Veloe Multi advantages stay but we listened to our retailers and riders.

Veloe Multi V2 vs. Veloe Multi V1

Some of our retailers told us that Veloe Multi wasn’t a longtail, but a midtail. Purely by measurements it wasn’t, but we understand that Veloe Multi is a compact cargo bike and that the wheelbase needs to be pretty much the same as a normal bike. So, we didn’t change the wheelbase but we extended the rear rack. A wonderful change for people that like to add a child seat or expect more of cargo-load.

We increased the rear rack by 2,5 cm. It doesn’t seem much but it makes a huge difference in adding accessories as the Veloe bags, the rear child basket and cushions. The main purpose of the longer rear rack stays more comfort for children.

Flexibility in using accessories.

With its longer rear rack more possibilities are here to add Veloe accessories and combine them. Also, if you’d like to add accessories from other brands like Basil, Urban Iki or Ortlieb (and many more), the new frame of Veloe Multi V2 allows you to mount them easily.

Design, looks with stronger feel.

The housing of the engine has been reduced so it looks sleeker and more refined. The design of Multi V2 is totally in line with what ‘Cargo’ represents: a sturdy look with a strong feel.
